Helped me with a project when I couldn't get help

One day I decided to build a solid bookcase out of 3/4 MDF. I bought 5 sheets and Lowes downloaded them for me (that was throughout quarantine and they picked up curbside so I figured why not?). When I got home I found out how heavy each 3/4 panel is (96 lbs!). I immediately went to Amazon looking for a solution that would allow me to raise these sheets as my wife was (then) 8 months pregnant. I found this and when I received it I was able to raise the sheets myself. (still hard but I made it).

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • No productivity

Essential for carrying 4x8 sheets of plywood

This tool makes carrying sheets of plywood without an assistant not only possible, but easy. It's very durable, made of aluminum and the handle is (probably) steel. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the aluminum part was clearly cut from a large sheet of metal and not sanded down. This will make those edges very sharp and you won't have any trouble cutting yourself. I put a sanding wheel on one of those little Dremel art tools and sanded the edges. If the manufacturer…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

I use this all the time; super helpful.

I use this gripper to move sheets/panels of plywood of different thicknesses. As long as you have the strength in your legs to lift the weight of an entire slab, you can move the sheets almost effortlessly (although I don't recommend attempting this yourself on windy days). I'll take it with me to try it on. store and use regularly in my shop. Sometimes, even when the slabs are smaller, I use it to move the cut pieces simply because I don't want to fiddle around with gloves to protect my hands…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
