Easy to use and accurate calibration

I have had several different PH testers like this one. I bought a similar auto-calibration machine a few days before this purchase and was not at all happy with the calibration process. The ability to manually calibrate this meter is HUGE. That makes it easier and more reliable. I use a grow water meter and it works GREAT!

Worked once can't get it to work again

The product worked very well the first time, right out of the box. I did a calibration test to make sure it was on target and within 0.01 of the target. Unfortunately, the product hasn't worked since then. I've tried cleaning with distilled water, but the result still doesn't show up correctly. If there was more detailed troubleshooting information, the product could possibly work again.

Used in my saltwater pool

This gauge is almost calibrated. A slight adjustment of the screw, and it showed 6.9 and 4.0 on standard solutions. A real plus for me is that it gets readings fairly quickly, seconds rather than minutes. It seems to work well with the water in my pool. I'm pretty good at setting most pool parameters with test strips, but the pH readings on the test strips continue to fool me. activity of chlorine and for animal comfort - especially for the eyes. In salt tanks, the chlorination method naturally
