Exactly what I was looking for

I thought a long time before ordering this chair due to the criticism I read in other posts (e.g. things to adjust, rough fabric for knee pads, etc.). However, I only received my chair 30 minutes ago and, contrary to other reports, was able to follow the instructions perfectly; It only took about 15 minutes to assemble (including unpacking) and no bending was required. In fact, I'm sitting in a chair right now as I type this and it's comfortable for me. Only time will tell if I still like it…

Hydraulic height adjustment does not work. Incorrect distance between knee pad and buttocks/thighs.

chair construction (quality) actually seems reasonable for the price. But the hydraulic height adjustment didn't work. And most egregious of all, the product description made no mention of fit (or non-fit!) - the height adjuster doesn't set the correct hip-to-knee distance. My femur (hamstring/hamstring) needed to be 4 inches longer to reach the kneecap and have my lower back in the proper supportive position. I just got this item in the mail. My friend assembled it in 20 minutes with no problems. I am a 6ft 3cm female and got this chair thinking it would be tall enough to support me. I bought this chair for my wife because I was tired of seeing her slouching at her desk. I told her to choose an ergonomic chair and that was her idea so I ordered it.
