Band came very quickly so the seller did a good job! The tape itself isn't quite what I expected. The instructions said to remove the top coat after application, but as far as I can tell it was just a fairy tale. I used it on my purse and although it's not a dark color it looked white rather than transparent on my purse so ugly and invisible.

It was terrible! ! ! , there were so many folds in the roll that it was impossible to squeeze all the air bubbles out of it. Reminds me of my grandmother's washboard, but that's how it was made. I was trying to caulk a Hayward pool sand filter that had a few small leaks and it just didn't work. I even got myself a tool that window tints use to remove air bubbles between the film and the glass. Bob X

Attempting to use a fiber optic repair product on a waveguide after hitting a log. It doesn't look like it will hold and/or keep out water. Sooo big piece of flexible tape and everything is fine! No problem with up to 50 km/h! No problem sitting in the sun or in the water all day. It actually works as promised on TV. I suppose if we wanted to remove the tape and do a better fiberglass repair we'd be out of luck. I don't think it's coming off.

First, the most common complaint about this application is that it doesn't stick. As with all self-adhesive products, you MUST rub or press hard enough to force the film of water away from the adhesive. If you do, it will really stick. We have a 15x25 oval pool that we bought in 1983 to "see if we really wanted a pool". Here it is, 36 years later, with the original inlay. I used this to repair a torn canvas cover on a van. To do this, I had to get down from the ladder. Be careful. This stuff is SUPER sticky. Since I had to use a long strip and I was working alone, the ends stuck together and wouldn't pull apart after I removed the masking strip that came with the kit. Half had to be thrown away as unusable. Don't get me wrong the others have done their job but in the future I will be much more careful when using this product and seek help. I would also like to…
