Couldn't resist this product but only bought one. I wish I had two, but at the time I talked about it and decided on one. I'll probably order another one before summer as I use USB powered fans and battery powered lights around the campsite and also on the non air conditioned covered patio. It will be handy and much nicer and more durable than a fan which is actually expensive and comes with a flexible positioning rod that just doesn't work. It works and it's just great.

To illuminate the underside controls in my 23 year old car because of the dashboard lights burned out. Plug it into your cigarette lighter with a cheap USB adapter.

The item I only received transmit power, no data. Connected devices turn on but are not recognized by Device Manager. After removing the 2nd tested device, the socket was completely pulled out of the plastic housing (see photo). I'm glad I also ordered https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01ID602BE which really works!

I use them with small LED chip lights from Yitee and other manufacturers during power outages, hiking, in the car, etc. When connected via USB, these lights will flash or turn off completely while driving. They look great and are made of metal, but they're not worth the money.

I am using a gooseneck to add some interior lighting to my car's center console. The first one didn't conduct energy, so it was returned. The second worked, but the USB plug fits freely in the USB socket. It won't fall out and I won't send it back either, but USB plugs are usually safer. Average to poor rating in this case.
