Cracked after 20 uses

I'm reviewing my review after using this bowl less than 20 times. The brim is torn at the crease although I have never folded it up and down. I used it once a week for flaxseed porridge, which takes 45 seconds in the microwave. I then wash it in the dishwasher. I believe it can still be used for this purpose but seems sensitive to high quality food grade silicon. I've never had this problem with silicone cake pans or cupcake tins, although I've used them more often and at a much higher…

Pros
  • Top folds down to make a smaller/larger mug
Cons
  • Very expensive

Couldn't find the best use case for this

It's very flexible, so it was difficult to lift with liquids (ramen, cereal, etc.). Not ideal for camping/backpacking as it's not exactly light or stiff so you'll need to be careful to stow/pick it up when you have food. Yes, you can roll it up to pack, but the odd shape still takes up space in your luggage, used as a storage container in a backpack because again, it's not sturdy enough and doesn't have a lid. Ultimately, I prefer the GSI mug, which is lighter, insulated, and comes with a lid.

Pros
  • . Concave bottom stays stable on uneven surfaces

Correct size even with graduation (jars and ml)

I carry a backpack, I'm older so it's important to me to reduce the weight in my backpack. I've found that whether it's morning oatmeal, a hot drink, or a meal together, I can't go wrong with the right size, soft silicone bowl that packs anywhere. No spills, easy to clean and keep warm to the end. I also liked using the 770ml / 26oz Guyot Designs silicone bowl, but this Humangear bowl is a bit under the capacity (700ml / 3 cups to the brim) but more than enough and with graduation it can for…

Pros
  • Glossy interior easy to clean
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
