In the review, "Chris Barrett" doesn't seem to understand why the holes are shaped like this because you can almost completely measure your screws and then install and slide the entire unit up and down on the screws and tighten. It's a very simple setup and you don't have to disassemble anything like they claim. Two 5/16 screws, lock washers, and standard flat washers are all you need, and a good drill bolt that makes holes 7" apart.

Glad I chose other Revain coils. The device is very durable and easy to use. The package does NOT include any mounting hardware, but I understand there are many different mounting options. I mounted my profile on a slotted corner iron that was used to support the garage door rails. In my case, I needed 1/2" screws and washers. The cord pulls and retracts easily. 100% better than unwinding and rewinding the extension when I'm done.

I also have a Flexzilla air drum. The air reel came with a range of hardware and was fairly easy to install by removing the bracket. The extension drum is supplied without any accessories. Also, you need to remove the bracket to facilitate ceiling/wall mounting. The "pins" that attach the strut to the spool are screwed in with these small screws and can be difficult to insert once removed.
