Works well Economical alternative

I built this for filling livestock water tanks as a replacement for a badly worn expensive brand for more of this task. This float valve is easy to install, works great, and costs about half the price. The old valves usually last about two years. These valves appear to be well made and I'm sure they will last longer.

Does not maintain a constant water level! Also professionally installed!

This thing is a piece of junk. Does not hold exact water level. I had one of these and thought it was because it was slightly tilted in my tank. I bought another block and reinstalled Lao, it just went up and down and the water level is still rising well above the block every day. Requires constant maintenance! Save yourself the headache and buy a regular float valve!

Constantly Leaking (Slow)

Installed, tested and leaking. The leak is very small and slow but I needed one that stopped when the water reached its limit so that's not for me. If I were to use this on a large cattle waterer tank it would be fine. Threading fits well enough for 1/2" graphics 40 PVC. It costs $10 and is exactly what you would expect for $10. I opted for a replacement rather than a refund in order to see if i received a broken one but as it is a simple design and i don't have high hopes for plastic i will…
