The worst thing about this product is the design and engineering. First, it contains instructions for the water heater shutdown system that are not specific to the ice machine model. I can't understand why they choose custom fittings for their valve ports. They used a less common compression fitting only used for toilet check valves when they could easily incorporate a standard metal compression fitting which is infinitely more reliable. I have used FloodStop products for many years and have been very happy with them. I have one on my new washing machine and dishwasher and it's designed to cover the fridge. Unfortunately, the installation turned out to be too difficult for me. One problem, of course, is that it's sticking out of the wall and forcing the fridge to park in the aisle, but at least my water source was again in a neat plastic box and the unit would have basically been sunken.
