Good for planted aquariums, but algicide, no "added carbon". Be careful with the dosage, use a small amount, otherwise it may melt some plants and disturb delicate fish and shrimp.

When ordering this product, pay special attention to the size of the bottle. I paid too much for the bottle size I received. I used it up completely in less than a week. Very dissatisfied and I'm not even sure if it helped my plants because I didn't get much benefit from it.

Seems to work. Plants become more lush in just a few days. But it doesn't seem like a great BBA biocide so I bought it - because of all the hype about it on forums etc. Unless I need to overdose by a large amount, which I wouldn't risk. with all the fish that I have in my aquarium. It seems a bit pricey for a CO2/Carbon alternative. I have found other brands much cheaper though.

To be honest I only bought this because my aquarium was growing board algae and I read it would kill them if applied directly. I pulled out the plant that the algae was growing on, used a brush to add just the right amount for my tank size, and applied it directly to the algae. It was like magic, after 48 hours all the algae on the board was gone and my plant looked healthier than ever!

After receiving this I tried to read the label. Since the inscription is small, I held the bottle to my face. It was an unopened bottle but it didn't have a seal on it, apparently moving it was enough to release the gas I was inhaling, I got dizzy very quickly and it irritated my bronchioles. READ WARNING: THIS IS DANGEROUS! Why would anyone need this in their home, especially if you have kids!
