Sounds great on a 5.4 liter Triton engine without cats and with a small resonator mounted on either side where the cats used to be. Would definitely buy again.

This muffler was custom fitted to my 1983 Mustang GLX which I put a 302 V8 in. Looking for a powerful yet sophisticated sound. I like the sound very much! UPDATE: It's been three years and the sound is still great!

Great sound. You can easily turn it on early in the morning without the neighbors hearing it. Has a nice little rumble at idle but open it up and WOW. Of course, the lack of cats and long pipes does not hurt. These are great sounding mufflers. No drone.

The perfect Flowmaster muffler for your 87-93 Mustang 5.0 (in my opinion) but with even less rumble (almost none) than the earlier three chambers. I had to purchase these, flow tubes and exhaust pipes separately as I didn't want the laser etched Flowmaster exhaust pipes.

I installed them on a '98 Mustang. They sound great with BBK and X-tube jacks. I have previously had a Fox 93 body with two chamber Flow Masters, BBK and X-Pipe heads that sounded good with a Mustang 97 in the same setup but with three chamber Flow Masters. I knew when starting a restoration project I needed high performance mufflers just without the "aggressive" drag sound. They came out with enough rumble
