Solved "phantom flush "

That seems to be the end of the occasional, annoying and wasteful "phantom flush" of the toilet. However, the instructions are too short. The toilet chain must be removed from the handle using small needle nose pliers to remove the small cotter pin. Otherwise, the chain will become tangled during installation. Another reviewer provided a short but helpful installation video.

Toilet Still Leaking: Toilet Flush Valves

I bought this to replace the gasket on my standard US toilet. The original gasket had bubbles that grew so large that a tight seal was not possible. Structural defects in the sealing material. The aftermarket Fluidmaster seal only seals occasionally but still leaks. waste of money. I can't wait to get rid of this toilet, but until then I will be buying the US standard OEM gasket.

These are not ghosts, most likely a worn flush valve seal. The American standard blue seal was the original toilet equipment 5 years ago. This filling developed "blisters" or "blisters" that defeated its purpose. I bought a new blue Fluidmaster AS seal and installed it in about 5 minutes. The flush works like new. I received the blue seal from Revain in about 2 days. It cost about $6. Check Fluidmaster online for toilet leak information.

Not compatible with toilet parts

Not compatible with Champion 4. It is not possible to replace the flush valve seal without damaging the flush valve, therefore a new flush valve must be ordered and replaced. Any tutorial videos found are not applicable as they look similar, but the valve will need to be broken open to remove the old gasket. I only replaced the flush valve 5 years ago and have had the toilet for 9 years now. A bubble forms in the flush valve seal, causing leakage. This is the second time in 9 years that the…
