Description of ⚡️ AC-DC TRMS Fluke 325 Clamp Multimeter

Digital clamp meter measures AC current to 400 amp, AC and DC voltage to 600V, and resistance to 4 kilohms. True RMS sensing meter provides accurate readings when measuring linear or non-linear loads, regardless of waveform. Jaw opening measures current in a conductor up to 30mm without touching or interrupting the circuit. Audible continuity sensor confirms that the circuit conducts electricity. Meets IEC safety standard 61010-1, and is rated for CAT IV installations to 300V and CAT III installations to 600V. 400 A AC and DC current measurement. Resistance measurement up to 40. Ac voltage make for the most accurate measurements on non-linear signals. Temperature and capacitance measurement. Frequency measurement.

Product correct, wrong version/language

Fluke 325 works great but what I thought I was buying based on the pictures wasn't what I got. I have a Chinese or other package/version that I can't read (see picture). I'm sure I can get English manuals online, but that's not the point. The package also arrived in 37 days, I assume from abroad. I give 4 stars for the counter but 2 stars for the seller for false advertising and endless shipping.

Pros
  • Measuring resistance up to 40 ohms
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Easy to use. for testers

mainly for the function of DC clamps. It works great and has two scales 0-40A and 400A. not many clamp meters can work with AC/DC current, but it is possible. The peak hold function also works very well and is able to detect the starting current of the AC motor. I think the voltage reading is only 10s and the resistance range is very limited. So it won't be your only meter type, but as a clamp meter with added multimeter capabilities, it's a great addition to your toolbox.

Pros
  • AC voltage for the most accurate measurements of nonlinear signals
Cons
  • I don't remember, but something was acquired

Very accurate amplifier clamp!

Test leads are the only thing I need to replace and I highly recommend switching to silicone insulation especially if used or stored in a cold environment as non-silicone Tear lines over time. Since I work in dark and dirty places, a backlit show is important to me. This bad boy costs more money compared to 323. Choose the best model if you are a professional who takes pride in your work. The min-max function is helpful when troubleshooting circuits and checking inrush current.

Pros
  • 400A AC/DC reading
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Get 325 for DC Clamp Reading

Regular current clamps are not designed to correctly measure DC. Therefore, when purchasing a clamp meter that will be used primarily on AC, I still opted for the DC options at an additional cost. This should come in handy when messing around with the car. The first impression is quite good. And the 10A DC clamp showed 9.91A in one direction and -9.94A in the opposite direction; absolutely normal. And even the physics work. With five turns of wire around the clamp (see image) the 10A…

Pros
  • True RMS Meter gives accurate readings when measuring linear or non-linear loads, regardless of waveform
Cons
  • Some Challenges

This meter works as advertised. The number one reason to buy a meter is a DC clamp meter for automotive use. It measures up to 50mA to detect phantom loads destroying a car battery after the engine has been turned off overnight. It also has True RMS for AC voltage and current. So you can use it for both HVAC and vehicle air conditioning. I used to use counterfeit meters. Don't waste money on them. You cannot trust them for the DC hold function. You get what you pay for. If I lose or break this…

Pros
  • Frequency measurement
Cons
  • Nothing

Very accurate amplifier clamps could measure 50 milliamps 50mA

has been damaged. Here are a few things I couldn't find online or in other reviews. I have a desktop power supply and an electronic load, so I was able to test the amp clamp at low values (like a parasitic drain). Really low readings like 30-40mA can be obtained, but they are not very accurate. A current between 30-40mA always shows 20mA, but it is still better than a value of 0. From 50mA the meter worked accurately. It is important to check the zero point regularly as I have found that after…

Fluke lives up to its reputation with another great product!

I love this product! I only bought this for the ammeter feature because I had a parasitic load on a car battery that I needed to find. This product was able to give me accurate readings right away when I was tracking the issue. I've always been happy with the Fluke and it's well worth the price. I haven't tried the other features of this device as I have a Fluke multimeter that I use frequently, but I see a few applications where I might prefer this device to my multimeter. When using my…

Ideal for professional electricians for testing and troubleshooting

Still works after 3 years of use and mishandling. The only thing I had to change was the test leads. I highly recommend switching to silicone insulation, especially if used or stored in cold conditions. Non-silicone lines will crack over time. The backlit display is very important to me as I work a lot in dark and dirty environments. This bad boy was value for money compared to the cheaper 323. For a professional who takes pride in their work, you should definitely go for the best model. The…
