🏞️ Fluker's Critter Cavern: Hideout for Reptiles and Small Animals Review

Bought two oversized pelts for my adult male leopard gecko. The little friend loves her. However, they have quite a bit of bark and the staples holding the label are difficult to remove. Do you also think there can be an extra large one? Was thinking about getting a large reptile as the largest size would be too small.

Our 2 year old leopard tortoise has outgrown another hole. I took a chance on buying it after reading the reviews and had no luck with one at the pet store and it's great! I wish it was a little bigger but for now it will work. I like that there is a relatively small layer of wood inside, the other one we had was the same size, but the inner wood was so thick it didn't fit.

I ordered 2 of these logs for my mouse colony. I needed a strong skin that my females could easily fit under with their litter. Although it's "smaller" than I would like it to be, it's still quite large for her. These skins are well suited for small rodents and small/juvenile reptiles. However, they definitely don't work for large animals.

I hate this thing. I bought it for one of my bearded dragons. It's sturdy and big, which is great BUT. My problem is that it creates a mess. He keeps throwing off wood, so to speak. makes a mess in the aquarium because the wood flakes off. that annoys me a lot. I have a smaller one for the gecko I have and the rug and it's fine. Maybe I just got a bad one.

I liked this product at first, especially for the price. But the tip was so rough I was worried it might hurt my python. and then when I took it out to clean the tank there was a bunch of mold on the floor after only 1-2 weeks! I bought this for our medium sized leopard gecko who has a description of a person holding it with one hand. This is the right size for this animal. When it arrived it was large, which is huge for an adult iguana or other larger reptile. I sent it back to exchange for the correct size and they sent me the EXACT ONE in a larger size. To be honest I wanted to love it. This is a nice piece of wood for our bioactive turtle box. BUT CAME BROKEN. Completely broken in half so we couldn't use it for its intended purpose. My 5 year old really didn't want to wait for a new one and I hate going back so I had to tweak the pieces to create a turtle skin and climbing surface.
