Suitable for sand baths for hamsters

Bought this sand for my hamster's sand bath. It's perfect for hamsters, doesn't need to be baked like baby play sand, doesn't contain calcium and I find it really helps cool my dwarf hamster.

Pros
  • Products for animals
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Doesn't clump much but dries quickly

I liked that we can scoop out urine for our hamster and the other brand stays a clump. This is probably fine for the other animal as the urine will stick together, but it will dry out quickly enough for the hamster to dig up and use again. So I guess it's a matter of preference.

Pros
  • Sandy
Cons
  • Damaged

Perfect for hamster sand baths!

I've spent hours searching the internet for a safe bathing sand for my baby Lilith, came across this one and decided to give it a try! It's not powdery at all and not too coarse! (right) and Lilith likes it! I will definitely keep buying this sand for her!

Pros
  • Reptiles & Amphibians
Cons
  • Doubts
