this is a very good product, works very well with my turtles, they also like to be under this light. I am very satisfied with this product. I will buy again anytime.

So far the light has worked as expected. The real test will be how long it takes for it to burn through. I seriously doubt that this light emits much of the ultraviolet radiation some reptiles need to survive. But at least warm their bathing cages.

Purchased 8th January 2015 and retired today 6th February 2015 - Approximately 300-400 hours of lamp life rather than the average 3000 hour advertised range. The lamp was installed correctly, with no finger oil stains and in an overhead light of the correct wattage.

SECOND UPDATE 12/21/18 - third bulb failed after 2 months (less than 800 hours of use). 🤬 This is not my device as my UV lamp works well (two lamp reflector). UPDATE 10/14/18 - The replacement bulb lasted just over 1000 hours in less than 90 days for an average lifespan of 3000 hours. -Watt lamps, with fresh nitrile gloves (no oil on fingers touching bulb).
