SECOND UPDATE 12/21/18 - third bulb failed after 2 months (less than 800 hours of use). 🤬 This is not my device as my UV lamp works well (two lamp reflector). UPDATE 10/14/18 - The replacement bulb lasted just over 1000 hours in less than 90 days for an average lifespan of 3000 hours. -Watt lamps, with fresh nitrile gloves (no oil on fingers touching bulb). It was working fine until the last few days (July 15th) when it started turning on and off randomly. Revain replaces it for me, so I'm hoping this one works better! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 I'll give a low rating until the replacement changes my mind. It can just be defective. I will update my review in the future. The tortoise seemed to like it very much and often sunbathed.
