🦀 Flukers Saltwater Concentrate/Water Conditioner for Hermit Crabs: Optimal Care in 2-Ounces Review

I don't know why but my crabs wouldn't fit in a bowl of water with this thing on. I did as I said but they just didn't like it so I switched to another brand that was premixed.

Doesn't produce much salt water at all. This one bottle lasts me less than two weeks. Instant Ocean is the best value and lasts longer. MUCH more time actually.

Instructions followed and checked with hydrometer. Salinity was below 5ppm, ideal would be 26. Total divorce. If you use it, be sure to check the salt levels and be prepared to use MUCH more than the directions say.

My hermit crabs LOVE their saltwater pool! It would be very helpful if the bottle included a dropper. I usually pour a drop or two into the large sink I use for her pool, but it would be a lot easier if there was a dropper built into the lid.

Not the worst seawater purifier, but I found after purchasing it that it doesn't provide most of the nutrients that hermit crabs need, plus it has a much lower salinity than it does. should be. I recommend Instant Ocean instead (in combination with Prime Conditioner), the difference was amazing: Flukers looked and smelled like regular water, while Instant Ocean feels like salty sea water on the skin!
