Neat little grid. for aquarium net

I was annoyed that the net is folded on the shrimp, I thought that it keeps its shape a little more. I like the telescopic handle and the small size. However, the square shape is better for getting shrimp out of corners. I like the small size for getting into tight spaces.

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • reliability

No 3D mesh on aquarium mesh

I was so excited about the shrimp mesh because the regular square mesh is too big for shrimp. This shrimp net is impractical. This is not a 3D network. The shrimp got stuck in that shallow, deep pocket. It is very difficult to get them out. I could also just use my old regular network. The only option I like is the extended stem. Therefore only 2 stars.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons

Not as expected - Fish & Aquatic

The net itself is great but the handle isn't strong and the net head itself has already come loose from the handle with a slight tug when trying to see how far the Handle is fully extended. The mesh circle itself is tiny, so if you have fish larger than a guppy, don't even try to buy them. Definitely not worth the price in my opinion.

Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

The shrimp net I was looking for!

This is the shrimp net I've been looking for! It's so easy to catch my shrimp, they practically swim by themselves! I love the design, although I don't intend it for anything other than catching dwarf shrimp and small fish. The mesh is very thin, which I like and is easier to see on the web.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Doubtful

Not as rigid as I was hoping, but otherwise functional.

I was hoping it would be a stiffer net so I could lift the shrimp without breaking the bag (I've seen metal nets). The material is a little stiff when dry, but once it gets wet and is pulled out of the water it collapses onto itself and onto the shrimp. There is also a huge seam around the mesh for size. It works like a small network, but I'll probably try to find another one sometime.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Big and bulky

LESSON LEARNED: READ WHAT YOU ARE BUYING FIRST.

This was the best purchase I have ever made from Revain. I was looking for a shrimp net, of course it's my fault, I didn't do enough research here before buying. I was so excited waiting for this net when it arrived it was the best laugh I have ever had, even better showing my husband my new shrimp net to take to the beach and my own to catch shrimp. It is not durable at all, even for aquarium use. I have used it in my bait bucket for minnows and small shrimp I should say tiny shrimp. Again…

Large size for catching dwarf shrimp like Red Cherry.

Purchased in December 2014. Great size for catching dwarf shrimp such as red cherry shrimp or amano shrimp but also useful for catching bettas, guppies etc. Soft enough to fit the fins of the otocinclus not to hurt. When you have a network this size, you can't go back to big rectangular hums. My problem was that the quality was so poor that after only a few months of use part of the mesh fell out of the telescopic handle and into the aquarium. I had to glue it back with superglue, but I'm…

Ideal for salt/fresh water tanks!

EXCELLENT NETWORK! I have bought many of these for my aquarium hobby over the past few years, both freshwater and marine. FRESHWATER: I have used this regularly for my freshwater shrimp tanks. Specifically, I've kept Crystal Red Shrimp (CRS), Fire Red Shrimp, and Blue Bolts. This is the perfect size for catching those small ornamental shrimp. They were very helpful when the shrimp were being farmed and the babies were everywhere. I have found these nets to be small enough to catch even the…
