Large and Reliable Nutcracker

I was expecting a full sized nutcracker but was pleasantly surprised by the size of this nutcracker. This is a great addition to my collection and is of excellent quality.

Paint a new product?

So disappointed! The Nutcracker doesn't come in a box so I don't know if it was the shipping that resulted in Nick painting the base. I could live with that as things happen during shipping. What disappointed me so much was the "sounding" color on the nutcracker's body. It was so obvious as it was a darker shade of red and shouldn't have been on the new product! I didn't have time to return it as it was a gift to give as soon as I received it. I was planning to order more but not sure if it's…
