WORK BUT ARE VERY LIGHTWEIGHT.

Bought these because my The Grabber finally broke after 10 yrs of use. So these seemed like a good deal=a pair, so I bought them. They are half as hefty or strong as my old one but do an OK job-- barely. The grip brake on both doesn't seem to work securely.-you can still squeeze the grip after setting the brake whereas my old one's brake still works even though being broken. These are very lightweight & made in China but not described in the listing.

Pros
  • FOLDABLE: It has 32 inches, but only 17 inches after folding. Easy to carry and use
Cons
  • The trigger mechanism for the claws is difficult to operate for those with limited dexterity

suction cups too stiff to work well

Have a similar one the can rotate 90 degrees and grip can lock in closed position but biggest problem is suction cups ar too still to pick uo small wet items like the one I have

Pros
  • Great help
Cons
  • Everything it gripes just fall off. The lock connector no good.

Love these they’re the best ones I have been able to find. And can’t beat the price. I recommend them! Do yourself a favor and use epoxy or some screws to reinforce your suctions cups or you’ll lose them if your using the grabber for heavier items trash pickup or outside use. For indoors the cups will probably be fine without reinforcing them.

Pros
  • A bit flimsy but still work well. Good for price.
Cons
  • hinge does not work

Don't buy folding grabbers.

The plastic middle part that folds is not strong and eventually breaks. The Plastic knob/locking dowel loosens and the grabber will fold in half and eventually breaks and is no longer usable. Spend the money on a strong solid arm, not one that collapses or folds.

Pros
  • Bought for grandkids to pickup trash. They loved them.
Cons
  • The arm is not very sturdy and tends to wobble when trying to grab items
