They work great for speeds

I bought these for my daughter's talent performance. This is my first experience with such dance shoes. They are great for turning, offer cushioning and the fit feels good, very comfortable on the foot and not loose. We have an acrobatics pass in our program and they don't offer much support for acrobatics. These dance shoes are perfect for dances that require someone to grab their toes. I was very happy with this purchase.

Watch your size. The width is the problem.

Ordered a medium shoe size 7-1/2. They put them on for a trial and were only able to wear them for a few minutes. They don't stretch. ha .but non-refundable after wearing even for such a period.dirty on the stage. Reordered and bought in bulk. They are alright. If you have an average foot with a wider toe, go up a size, they came out too tight for me. There are absolutely no shoe measurements on the Revain website or the manufacturer's website. So I'm taking off one star for the poor sizing and

Almost got 4 stars on Athletic

Now I really wanted to give 3 or 4 stars. I really like them and they are amazing but it took me time to use them to give an accurate review. I've been using it twice a week for over a month now. At first they fit well, but I found that I would have to adjust a lot on the left. Now both seem to be losing their resilience. I will continue to use them because ballet and jazz classes are easier with them than without them. The padding under the ball of the foot is great. But when they finally run…

Helped with cornering, better than barefoot.

I got these to help with the twists for a modern dance class I wanted to try. The twists were too hard as the bare feet stuck to the dance floor (you think Marley?). I'm not an experienced contemporary dancer, so I didn't realize how many falls to the floor would occur in the class. I was having problems with my knee and all the motion of falling and rolling on the floor seemed to irritate my knee so I eventually had to stop. But in the few weeks I was late it really helped with twists and…

Small, not suitable for size 6!

Bought small (there is a size 6 for women). Turns out WAY smaller than expected. They hold your four smaller toes together when on. Also, they stretch a little in it, but not much. Pulling her a little lower on my leg didn't help; They ride back to the toes. However, they seem to be quite durable (strong fabric, good stitching) and the suede overlay on the bottom is in the right place. I'll put them in the freezer with a ziplock bag filled with water to see if it stretches them enough. holes)…

Great dance routines for women

I bought them for belly dancing. I've always had a problem with barefoot turns. My feet are too glued to the ground and I have a hard time doing twists and turns. My teacher thinks there are enough calluses, but she's a famous performer and I'm just an amateur ;) Also, I don't only use my feet for dancing and I don't want to make them too awkward. These midsoles provide the perfect amount of traction to keep you from slipping, but slippery enough to allow for twists and turns without extra…
