The latch will fall apart and you risk losing your expensive GoPro camera.

I bought this last December to record some of my snorkeling trips. When it arrived I took it out of the box to inspect it. I thought it was pretty cool and was looking forward to using it but put it back in the box. Well it was December, obviously too cold for snorkeling. I took it out of the box tonight to put it together with my GoPro. As soon as I tried to snap the GoPro into it, the latch literally fell apart. Absolutely no effort was made! NOT for GoPro 8! Invalid title.

I feel so salty now, and unfortunately not because of the sea water. πŸ˜’ I was very excited when I ordered this dome and was looking forward to taking these above and underwater shots. However, when I started installing the dome with my black GoPro 8, it just didn't fit. I couldn't believe someone could lie so blatantly in the product description. Also, the mode button (on/off) is on the wrong side. Luckily I had another smaller action camera that I was able to stuff with a piece of tissue paper

Very disappointed with this product. Twice the size

The relationship with Telesins GoPro dome products started with my Hero 7. I only had good reviews for this dome, so when I got the Hero 8 I bought a product made for the new camera from Telesin was developed. When the goods arrived I got everything ready for kayaking that weekend. I loaded the dome with other cameras and headed to the boat. When I went to charge the GoPro, like many other reviewers, I noticed that the plastic clip that closes the case was broken. I ordered a second replacement
