False advertising, only 500g but prints well

Very easy to print on and tapes well to a heated bed. I printed at 235Β°C with a layer of 60Β°C and 110% flux to get a fairly sharp and waterproof print. As long as you print slowly enough with a direct drive extruder, printing is easy - it's a very flexible filament. On the other hand this is advertised as a 750g spool but I received a 500g spool so the product is significantly more expensive per gram than advertised and I would return it if I didn't need it immediately.

Pros
  • Improved wear, abrasion and fatigue resistance
Cons
  • Can't remember

Prints great and holds up well with the right settings.

Prints very well. Thought I'd say that first so anyone looking at the reviews doesn't get the wrong idea. When I first got this thread I couldn't print it to save my life. It sat in my filament basket for quite a while, only showing up when I ran out of TPU and wanted to do a similar flexible print. First you need to use glue. Most people say it's clear tape. I've found Vision Minor Nano Polymer Adhesive to work great even though they don't advertise polypropylene. I had a few failed attempts…

Pros
  • High chemical resistance and excellent intercoat adhesion
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Soft but keeps its shape and is dishwasher safe

My wife bought a very large bowl that didn't fit in our existing dishwasher dish holder, so I saw an opportunity to develop a solution on a 3D printer. I first tried annealed PETG which worked well but still warped a bit during the drying cycle. I didn't want to use ABS because it's not food safe. So after some research I found this stuff. It's expensive but looked like what I needed. So far it has held up very well. Does not warp even during the drying cycle (approx. 180 Β°F) in the dishwasher.

Pros
  • Light weight: Material density 0.9 g/cm3. Waterproof printing is only possible with single wall prints
Cons
  • Some small things
