The original was off for 7 minutes and this one is installed. When the bike is fully extended on the 2021 Schwinn AXUM 29er, it has the correct incline to avoid falling or leaning too far to stress the kickstand. I painted the adjustment knob black with a marker. The red button may seem overly attractive to those who know what it is. I love this stand. Very happy with it.

Update my rating from 06/08/2020. I bought this stand in September 2019 and when I was cleaning my bike this morning the stand broke on its own. It's made of CAST METAL which is just weak and I'm not surprised it broke. I no longer recommend this product as it definitely doesn't last more than a year. Another crap MADE IN CHINA. I have another bike that is 25 years old and the METAL footrest is still in great condition.

My husband has wanted a side stand for his bike for a long time. I wasn't sure what size to go for but this one was adjustable so I decided to give it a try. I'm happy to report that the height adjustable footpeg made it very easy to adjust the height to fit my husband's bike, it's very sturdy and easy to fit, and I like the anti-slip feature on the bottom of the footpeg. Stand that reduces the risk of slipping when in use!

THIS STEP SEEMS MADE FOR MY FAT TIRE BIKE. I am completely satisfied with this stand and it was so easy to attach to the frame. It even comes with two different sized hex tools. The packaging also impressed me. It's fully adjustable in length and very stable, which is a big plus with the added weight of the Ape Hanger grips I've fitted. I would buy this item again without a doubt.

It was a good solution for my old Raleigh mountain bike. There used to be no stand. I've always disliked how I had to find a place to prop my bike up, be it a tree, a pole, or my wife's bike. She appreciates that she no longer has to use my bike to support it. It's still a bit unstable, but I also have a heavy bike. I might try to adjust soon for better balance but for now it's working. That's a lot better than laying down my trusty old Raleigh bike.

I initially had some problems installing this footrest on my bike. However, once I figured it out, it was simple and easy. As long as the screws are screwed all the way in, it doesn't matter how wide the bar it's attached to, the footrest will stay in place. It's also quite handy that the footpeg height can change as I have a fairly large bike. As an added bonus, it comes with all the tools you need to install it so you don't have to search for it. For me it was a great investment.
