Unreliable controls.

Ie using this with my Pentax K3 I have to select remote control mode on my camera and it flashes ready to receive. I did, but not all the time. My guess is that the battery in the remote always runs out, and when you need it, it's dead. But I'm not sure about that. After it didn't work after a hike up the mountain I was overwhelmed and didn't try to fix the faults with a new battery.

Didn't work with Pentax K20D

Battery is fine but this Foto & Tech wireless shutter release did not work at all with my Pentax K20D even though the K20D is listed as a compatible model in the product description. Too bad, I would be quite happy with this trigger if it worked as described. I don't know if my wireless shutter was defective or if this model isn't compatible with the Pentax K20D, but I didn't want to try a Revain replacement to find out. Will have to look elsewhere.

Amazing little remote control that works and has survived washing with clothes

I have now ordered three of these. I had the first one a year or so and lost it in the field. As inexpensive as it is and considering the simplicity of "just works" I ordered a replacement. I had the second one for over a year and recently after a night hike and photo adventure I left it in my bag and it ended up in my bag. Washing machine. When I first tested it after washing it didn't work but then again since they were so cheap I just ordered a replacement and took a chance and put that on…
