I have 12 pounds of gum and they have worked fine. They didn't fit right and whatever we took from him while he was wearing them started falling off. The dog hated them too, he was very uncomfortable with them and ended up eating them.

I could probably go for a medium for my Chihuahua Jack Russell mix but his legs are so skinny. They had velcro and stay on while he goes. He would sit down or turn around because the ground is so cold (-13 degrees in Michigan), so it was perfect for him. I no longer have to carry him for most of his walk!

Finally a boot for dogs that stays in place! We've been through a lot of shoes for our pooch! They actually stay and are dog friendly! In fact, he tries to scrape them off, but fails in doing so. This keeps his feet dry and warm. I would highly recommend them, especially for fussy small or large dogs that have a big no! so that you can set something up for them!

I have to say my dog hates carrying anything, but as a mini poodle he has a problem with the frigid northern Indiana weather. It took him about three minutes to get comfortable in it. He still doesn't like wearing them, but he likes that his walks outside are less than 30 seconds and he can now walk around the block. In my opinion the best 20€ I spent on it.

I have a dachshund mix and these are the first pair I've found that actually stay on their paws. I'm obsessed. They are perfect for small dog paws. Over the years I've tried MANY different ways to protect it from salt and snow (including rubber balls and expensive snowshoe booties) but these are the only ones I will continue to use. . It was very difficult for me, even with the Velcro removed, to put them on my dog's little paws. Your nails will get stuck and I'll have to start over. After taking ages to put on rubberized socks, they did an excellent job of being waterproof. I would recommend not using them for snow as they offer little to no insulation other than thin rubberized socks that keep your feet dry.
