Fox Run 5025 Glass Holder Review

Two of the 4 pieces of wood were different sizes, some thicker than others. The screws are absolutely of the lowest quality I have ever tried as the heads of the first two I tried had sheared off which resulted in me removing the headless screws with a vise to replace them with the , that I had. What should have been a 5 minute install turned into 30 minutes :(

These shelving units came with screws which fell apart when I screwed them to (on?) the shelf. The head was separated from the body by 2 screws before I gave up. The posts are fine but they will always be uneven due to bad screws, now I can't align one corner, had to use pliers to get the other screw out. I gave up and throw out the whole shelf. Too cheap to be worth the work.

First of all, the wooden rails that the glasses are attached to are fine. The supplied screws are made of typical Chinese rubble steel. The first screw I put in immediately blew the head off and I ended up having to drill it out and take out the shank with a vise, damaging the wood. The second propeller broke while sitting and the shaft had to be removed with a vise. I had to drill out the rails to a standard screw head size and then mount them with a "real" steel screw. A simple wine glass holder. Very easy to install and comes with screws for fixing. All you need is a drill/screwdriver, a drill and Phillips bits, a tape measure, a hole marker and patience. One tip: if you're installing this under an overhead cabinet, make sure you measure the thickness of the cabinet base. I will support another reviewer's complaint of poor workmanship. It looks like a coat of polyurethane has been applied in a thick and uneven layer. If you plan on painting them to match the cabinets, remember that you will need to sand down all of the resin on the exposed surfaces to get an even spot. Painting should require limited sanding.
