Did the job very well.

I purchased these waiters for a fishing trip in Alaska, they performed very well. As for longevity, I will have to wait and see how long they will last. Considering I paid 3 times the price for a well known brand previously, I think they were worth the cost.

Pros
  • Offer superior waterproof protection compared to other standard waders
Cons
  • May not fit well over larger boots or shoes

Can't Beat the Value

I've never owned waders before and normally I'm skeptic when I have to guess the size of things. You never know how products are made. Sizes vary. I'm an average guy 5' 9" and weigh 155 lbs. I where a size 10 shoe in Asics Kayano and the size 10 waders worked perfectly. My only concern was that there is no support in the boot. When my son and I fished last weekend in Oswego, NY I felt every rock and bump through the rubber sole. Luckily I had an old pair of my running shoes and I took the…

Pros
  • Ideal for fishing, hunting, or any activity that requires staying dry while in the water
Cons
  • May not offer enough visibility in low light conditions

very small upper body portion

I am a size 10 shoe, 5'8" and 250lb. I wear a size 50 athletic sport coat. Years of weight lifting have left me with much thicker calves and thighs than most men. Surprisingly, these waders fit my legs fine - I really expected that to be the issue since most boots I have to cut the sides to fit. But the upper body portion of this is probably 40-42" around at the chest opening. I was able, with much pulling, stretching, and wiggling, to pull these all the way up but they are extremely snug once…

Pros
  • Can be used in a wide range of weather conditions
Cons
  • Can be challenging to adjust the fit once on

If you are 6ft or taller…boots run big.

First off, these are a "less expensive”chest wader. I wasn’t expecting much. These are a one size fits all ordered by foot size. I wear a size 10 shoe and will often get a wide if available. I ordered the size 10. There is plenty of room left front to back and side to side. It’s more like an 11. I will have to wear thick wool socks with these to keep my feet from slipping around. If you are a 9.5-10 shoe a 9 would leave you room to spare with regular thickness socks. I am 5’10” and weigh…

Pros
  • Quick-release buckles make putting on and taking off these waders a breeze
Cons
  • May not be as comfortable as other options on the market
