Great for camping and hiking

To be honest I wasn't expecting much from them but was impressed with their use. Will definitely be getting more as they add almost no weight to the backpack and are as thin as a few sheets of heavy paper. Definitely worth buying a great camping/hiking dish.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

There is no sharp click. So no bowl.

So I really wanted to like them. We wanted two cups but were not offered. So I got two records. A little big for my needs. Size doesn't matter here as I can't keep 3 out of 8 shots. like no matter what. how do I use it if it doesn't actually turn into a bowl. Disappointing to say the least.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Quality

Light, compact, useful kitchen gadget

I have a set of these that I bought from a pet store many years ago. I love her. I just bought them because I wanted a new set. Not that there was anything wrong with the first one. You need to be careful as the latches are not very strong and can open when used as a bowl or mug if not secured properly. The new ones have rather weak closures. Not sure why. The old ones work perfectly.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Something different

4 years old and still working

We bought these glasses 4 years ago for traveling and camping for a family of 6. They get a lot of use and we haven't had any issues with snaps, tears or anything else. something else that some reviewers are concerned about. We use them for both bowls and plates. For use as a slab, when we need a small shape, we simply snap one of the latches. We like to pack light and don't need to eat all of our travel meals out (because with a family of 6, that adds up quickly). I keep all 6 of our products…

Cool concept and works very well

You are great. I'm not sure how long the locks will last, but the feedback seems encouraging. Plastic is the kind of durable plastic you find on travel chopping boards, like a thick milk jug, probably HDPE, and it can withstand the light use of a knife. Neat design, double-sided locking and use as a shovel. Combine all four for a bowl. Unzip the zipper and slide the backpack down. Plate to plate in 5 seconds. I don't bother with little things like whether the bars can hold food that could spoil

  • Great product

  • Not sure

I like that they are flat but had locking issues

I think it's a really cool idea. They're flat and light (as light as the cheap plastic bowl I usually carry with me). You have to be careful when the food is very hot, so you have to keep them on the edge if you have really hot food. Or when you fill them with hot water for the first time. It was quite cold on the last morning of our hike (maybe 35 degrees?). I couldn't click an image together. Nothing clogged, just not torn. We could get this to work, but if this problem occurred on more than…

Must-have for on the go

This item is amazing. I've taken it camping a few times and have received all compliments for its ease of use, compactness and style. It works great as a chopping board, plate or bowl. Super easy to clean and pack. It has measuring lines inside to make rehydrating/mixing easier. My only comment is if you are using hot liquids make sure you have something underneath as it transfers heat fairly easily. I would recommend putting it on the bear canister lid or wearing a shirt until it cools a bit…

Pros
  • Non-stick coating, easy to clean
Cons
  • Only available in black

Unreliable: Thoughtful design but cheap clasps are very fragile

I bought a set of 2, one of which had one of the clasps either broken in transit or passed quality control. This indicates either poor quality control or that the material used for the clasps is quite brittle or in any case not very strong. One in two defective shells has a 50% failure rate. If even one of the four latches breaks or otherwise doesn't work, you can't use it as a bowl, but you can definitely use it as a light cutting board. (or you can just use a lightweight cutting board with no

Not bad, but I've seen better.

I am a leader in a youth movement and have been involved in outdoor activities for almost two decades. I switched to collapsible plastic utensils (similar to this one) about 10 years ago and it's been great! Plate, bowl and cup all worked well. There has never been a single failure of the original set. Cardboard thick flat plastic fits and moves easily in a plastic bag, never breaks, folds easily and each of the pieces makes a very nice chopping board or serving tray when left flat. The sides…
