Decent antenna, but not weatherproof.

Pros: This antenna is thin and sleek. Because the coil is internal, the antenna itself does not have an external coil. It just looks like a thin round piece of black fiberglass. It does not catch strong winds. This antenna is quite flexible. When installed in a rigid mount without a shock spring, you can flex the top of the antenna 12 to 18 inches without undue stress on the base. The SWR on channels 1 and 40 is about 0.3 higher than on channel 19, which is saying something. This antenna has a…
