This stand saves my hands!

I had my doubts reading some of the reviews but this is exactly what I needed! I've been doing a lot of cross stitching during this pandemic and my left hand hurts holding the frame. Now I can build it into this frame, slide it under my feet wherever I sit. For those that said it doesn't hold the fabric in place I just use tape around the edge to hold it in place. It is very strong and does not require any additional adjustments.

Works well. suitable for sewing

And easy to put together. Reviewers who say it "broken during assembly" or broke during use must have an iron fist, or it was the person who handled the thing. Some people are rough on their belongings and wonder why everything they have is broken. It's not the toughest stuff, so don't over-tighten all the knobs! Like I said, it works well if you take the time to understand it. Some people are just impatient and stop blaming the product easily.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

Very satisfied - especially after the adjustment.

This stand works great as advertised but I especially like it when paired with Clover's 7 inch rotating bezel (see pictures). At the moment it is strong but light, very easy to assemble and comfortable to sit on. The original frame works great for medium to large projects, but I definitely recommend installing a frame and clamp for smaller projects. It's a lot easier to finish and start your work, or straighten those random thread twists in the back!

Pros
  • nice item
Cons
  • sad packaging

Wasn't entirely happy at first but now just disappointed

Have always had a few issues with this product since delivery. Before first use I had to sand the holes and remove the glue from the wood. It took a couple of weeks to just adjust it enough so it wouldn't wobble when working and align properly. It was normal to remove various scrolls from the frame. But the holes were not drilled very well and difficult. Now the bottom half of the frame is fully exposed from below. When attempting to unscrew it to pack for a car trip, the bottom screw stayed in

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Sad fitment

The tension is terrible

I bought this mainly for beadwork. My biggest complaint is not being able to get the tension right which lost a lot of it on the frame. I left it on and only used it because I played around with it for 30 minutes and didn't want to take it off and put it back on another frame at that point. I would definitely not recommend crossing large pieces as I mentioned because of the tension issue. Worked well, but only well, for beads. I would not recommend this product overall.

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

piss off! Framed

In theory, this frame is a good idea. In fact, you will spend a significant amount of your time pulling up the frame that holds the fabric. I've been using mine for about a month and can no longer tighten it enough to hold the split anchor tight enough to secure it in place. Upon further reading, these wooden frames are widely considered "entry-level" frames, allowing people to see how to use a speaker frame without having to immediately buy a more expensive floor stand. I would definitely not…

Pros
  • Sew
Cons
  • Not as thick as the other

The clever choice: Frame

I've been a cross stitcher for a long time and only ever use embroidery frames for my work. I've recently started suffering from pain in my arm while holding my small hoop so we decided to use this frame. I always thought it was a stupid price and never wanted to spend money but what a mistake it was! This little device is easy on your hands! This item was much cheaper than the same item on stitchery.com and I received it just a few days after ordering. In its lowest position it fits right over

Pros
  • Frame
Cons
  • Slightly creased
