Misleading Marketing Claims for Router Bit

This router bit wasn't at all what I expected .Despite the promising marketing claims it struggled to make clean cuts and produced lots of tear-out. After I put it to the test, I was highly disappointed. The only positive thing I can say is that the shank seemed sturdy enough. As someone who relies on industrial and scientific cutting tools for my work, I can confidently say there are much better router bits out there..

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other shank options

Packaging requires work

I received this piece today and am disappointed with Freud's packaging. Although the clamshell is easy to open without the need for a sharp knife and a little blasting powder, a normal burst of charge will not safely stop the club from moving. The shank is simply held in the front of the clamshell, "snapping" into the molded recess, allowing the bit to fall out of the holder and rattle in the packaging. If you have experience with carbide tips, you know that they are easily damaged on impact…

Pros
  • Cuts all composite materials, plywood, hardwoods and softwoods.
Cons
  • Dear
