Although I don't cut A LOT, I use this router bit in a CNC machine I bought a few years ago. Parts of this kind of Freud come out sharp and remain sharp despite many cuts. In general - I am very satisfied.
As it is probably a single flute, I am finding it very difficult to use this racquet. It doesn't cut as straight and smooth as I would like and struggles with me a bit more than other bits I have. But it's very beautiful, long and not very expensive, so I'm glad I added it to my collection.
I think Freud is one of the highest quality bits and they were the only manufacturer I could find that offered a 1/4 wide bit, the 1+ 1./2 was inches long. But 1+1/2" is too long for such a thin piece. I tried two of these and they both broke immediately trying to use them. I have lots and lots of bits and do quite a bit of router work, so yes I do know how to use bits properly.
