There are no cracks at all on the melamine

I built my first project with melamine and decided I had better choose the right blade for the job. Took a bit between this blade and a few others (which were more expensive) and finally settled on this one. Couldn't be happier. At least when it's new and sharp, it absolutely won't tear when cutting melamine with this blade. Only smooth, straight and clean edges with every cut.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Not everything fits

The best plywood blade I've ever used

This is a really good sheet of plywood, the best I've ever used. The kerf width is just over 1/8", which is a bit thicker, but the upside is that both sides of the kerf are sparkling clean. No lint or breakage. I use this blade for cutting plywood for shelves and drawers. Although I do so making hundreds of long cuts a week on hardwood plywood i'm starting to wonder if it ever dulls, when it does the sharpener gets noticeably fatter it takes money for a tooth.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • I have no dislikes for it, it's ok

Blade diameter NOT 10 inch

This looks like a good plywood blade but I can't use it. The blade is just under 9.85 inches in diameter, not 10 inches as described. (It's probably a 10" blade since Freud is in Italy.) The smaller diameter means the top of the blade is lower than the riving knife on my Sawstop PCS, so I can't use it for blind cuts in plywood. . I don't do this very often, but sometimes I have to. I've heard of people grinding down the tips of their riving knives to work with custom little blades like this…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some bugs
