Ease of installation. 2 screws and 2 wires.

This is the third item for my Frigidaire oven. When the native burned out, I replaced it with a non-original element. That went on for a little over a year. It worked well, but I noticed that it was slightly smaller in diameter than the original. It burned out, made a terrible noise and smoked in my stove. At the bottom of the furnace were chunks of molten steel. This time I went for a real Frigidaire piece. So far so good but I gave 3 stars because I don't know how long it will last. Remember…

Frigidaire Stove Oven Heating Element Model FEF366ECK

Perfect for replacing the oven heating element on my Frigidaire Stove model FEF366ECK. Manufacturer Part Number: 316075103 Easy to install, simply turn off the power or unplug the oven (whichever is easier). Below are the simple steps to replace. Use any search engine to find the video, but the process is easy and takes about 15 minutes. Switch the oven off or on. Remove the two (2) small sheet metal screws that secure the heating element to the back of the oven. I had a 1/4 inch hex head.2…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

The baking element arrived on time but was simply thrown into a box. Compared to the one I removed, I noticed that the terminals have a 90 degree bend (done this way) as well as a 90 degree twist. I tried installing it as it came, but there wasn't enough room in the oven slot for terminals and wiring. I thought I ordered the wrong part. I checked the part number and photos. If the new part was like the picture, it would work perfectly. I had to bend the electrical contacts and then rotate them…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging

  • Useless features

Replacement heating element at a fair price and quality.

This replacement heating element is perfect for my Kenmore electric range. The oven now works as it should and by installing it myself I estimate I saved at least $100 in repair costs. It took about 10 minutes to remove the old part and install this part. The item itself costs about $20. And it arrived in 3 business days, which is acceptable considering the pandemic. There is no local store near my home where I can buy it. Big stores like Lowe's and Home Depot would happily sell me an…

Stationary oven not heating

My mother's oven stopped working during the pandemic (bottom element wasn't heating) and she didn't want a handyman to come to the house to fix it. I searched the internet for the problem and the repair site said that replacing the item fixes the problem about 70% of the time. I doubted it was her problem. Her oven and heating element were in good condition and there was no indication that the element was bad. She cleaned the oven and it stopped working. Although I really don't know much about…
