Review on 🔥 Frigidaire 316075103 Electric Oven Bake Element by Chris Dildine

My mother's oven stopped working during the pandemic (bottom element wasn't heating) and she didn't want a handyman to come to the house to fix it. I searched the internet for the problem and the repair site said that replacing the item fixes the problem about 70% of the time. I doubted it was her problem. Her oven and heating element were in good condition and there was no indication that the element was bad. She cleaned the oven and it stopped working. Although I really don't know much about electronics and home appliances, especially how to start fixing them, I can watch YouTube. Replacing the bottom element looked easy enough so I decided to try it myself. The price of the Revain was much better than the device parts websites I reviewed, and like them, the Revain offered free returns on this item. I figured even if I couldn't fix it, I wouldn't lose anything by trying. The repair eventually required turning off the circuit breaker, loosening two screws, pulling the ends of the element out of the back of the oven, and disconnecting the wires from the element (which took a little more effort, but really no more difficult than plugging it in). a USB cable), plug the new one back in, tighten the two screws, turn on the circuit breaker and test the oven. It worked great. My 40 minute drive to and from her house took many times longer than the repair itself. In the end it turned out to be incredibly easy and very cheap. I will say this isn't a repair my mom could have done herself, but that's only because she couldn't kneel down to access the screws and wires in the back of her stove. For those who have no problem accessing the back of the oven I would have no hesitation in suggesting trying this item before calling a mechanic. As a side note, I was able to verify circuit continuity in their old element after taking it out. There was no continuity, although the item appeared to be in perfect condition.
