From the picture I assumed the toaster was not shiny or fingerprint resistant. Unfortunately not, which is why I didn't give 5 stars for the cleaning. However, I love that I don't have to cut the ends of my rye bread, so I don't need a toaster with extra long slots! The crumb tray was difficult to pull out, but it's there and works perfectly. Another great feature is that you don't have to turn the toaster sideways to see the controls. Overall I'm very impressed. Great value and features

Pros: - Extremely attractive appearance - Roast well Cons: - The crumb tray leaks and the crumbs fall out - When roasting more than one batch, the roasting time must be reduced after the first batch to increase the temperature get the same degree of browning (but this applies to all except the most sophisticated and expensive toasters) - a little expensive; Even if the leaky crumb tray is fixed in the next iteration of the design, this toaster has to cost $35 to make it a bargain.

Edit: DO NOT BUY THIS TOASTER. This thing will probably set your house on fire. Any setting above 0 will burn the toast. I would be afraid to raise above 4 (reaches 10). To make matters worse, THE COMPANY WILL NOT MEET ITS OWN WARRANTY. I love the look but for a $45 toaster we expected it to toast properly! We have to turn it almost to the lowest setting or it toasts the toast to a crispy crust and when we turn it to the lowest setting it toasts very unevenly. It's a shame the company put so…
