Fritz Aquatics Lower Treats 16 Ounce Review

I have added the recommended dose at 4 different intervals and my pH is around in a 10 gallon tank down 0.1. I also tested it in a 3 gallon bucket with no fish and it didn't change the pH at all.

My fresh water tank had a pH of 8.2. On Sunday I received the Fritz PH Reducer. My 75 gallon tank had 8 small fish. Following the directions I added 2 full caps and then 2 more a few hours later. I check the PH 3 hours after the last treatment. 8.2 I continued this treatment for 3 days without any change. I am 100% disappointed.

This product lowers the pH of the water as advertised. Confirmed by various types of tests. The dosing (with the lid) aims to lower the pH of a full aquarium. However, I prefer to lower the pH of every single gallon of water I add to the tank. Therefore, it is relatively difficult to add just a drop or two. Don't track pH. Yes, this product will lower the PH for a while. However, it will come back and you will have to keep adding it. All you will end up doing is stressing yourself and your aquarium life and possibly killing them. I tried adjusting my pH on some fish and I ended up killing them, I was so sad and felt awful. Your best bet is to test the pH of the water you will be using and either purchase aquatic creatures that like that pH or simply adjust them to suit your water. For example my…
