Bought for my friend who works with water and in wet weather. It keeps you dry and prevents water from getting on your clothes. For working in the water he had to put on another waterproof coat to keep the water out, but if he bought it to protect him from the rain then it's ideal. It is very light and easy to fold for storage in a bag. Frogg Toggs products are as advertised and we are delighted with this purchase.

This is a well tailored jacket and is probably best for those who need a lot of exercise and all weather conditions. I mean golfers, surveyors, plumbers, etc. As mentioned, this jacket is very large and has no lining; It is probably meant to be worn over a winter coat or other work wear. The X-Large was the right length, but it was like carrying a sail. Hard work and I expect bushy hiking won't tear this jacket apart. One pocket has enough space for a phone, wallet and maybe a sandwich. ;-)

Had a chance to wear this in a pretty good downpour today. I was out on the ship with nowhere to hide from the rain. The air temperature was 66 degrees and the wind could reach 10 knots.
