Let me start by saying if I could give this product 4.5 stars I would. Overall, the product has survived some good showers so far, which is why I gave it 5 stars instead of 4. However, when it comes to the fit, the elastic waistband drives me crazy. I'm 6ft tall and have a longer torso than others. So when I wear this Bull Frogg Signature75 jacket with Bull Frogg Signature75 pants, the elastic waistband rides up and sits over the waistband of the pants, causing all the water to be kept out of my body, down the back of the jacket and onto mine shirt/my pants to walk underneath. I don't think a larger size will help with this issue (I ordered a large one), like any other. This jacket fits me very well and even allows me to wear a nice warm Carhartt coat underneath. Top. Aside from the elastic question, everything else seems to be working fine. The jacket is nice and light and the large size allows me to wear warmer clothes underneath (as this jacket doesn't really warm). The hood fits my head. nice even with a baseball cap underneath, and rolls up under the collar to keep out of the way when not in use. The main zip goes all the way down so you don't have to pull the jacket over your head to take it off and has a flap that covers the inside and another that covers the outside of the zip and closes with buttons to close the zip protect jacket . Lightning strike from penetrating water. There are Velcro wrist straps for a snug fit over gloves if needed, and the jacket even has pockets on each side. These pockets close well but they are too far back in my opinion. Also, I've learned the hard way that when your hands are in your pocket, the water just flows down the sleeves of the jacket and into the pocket. I know the hood also has small adjustments that you can make, but I didn't have to do anything so I'm not sure what the range of that adjustment is. In general, the jacket withstands rain and wind. If I could just figure out a way to keep the elastic waistband from riding up, I'd be spot on. I can't beat them all I guess. For under $25 (when I bought it) I can't really complain. I wanted something I could keep in my car while fishing or walking the dog on a rainy day that would keep me dry and not have to worry about soaking up water like my previous "raincoat" did, and it fits bill. We'll see how it holds up over time.
