I say it was easy to install but that's because I had a friend who was a mechanic. I couldn't figure out how to connect the cable. He did it in a few minutes. Works great, no problems!

This part was affordable, shipped quickly and was exactly what I needed. I should have bought it sooner or the hornets wouldn't have built the next one on top of the gas tank. No more loose latches and no more hornets.

I wasn't sure if this part would fit or if I could install it. I just unscrewed the old one, pressed the button and pulled out the wire. Then reinsert the wire into the new latch. I put the latch back in, screwed it in and bam, we're good to go! Easy installation and perfect fit.

I once had a tank door that slammed shut when closing and then wouldn't close. ordered this for about $5 and worked great. I especially liked the easy installation. took about 2 minutes and requires no tools. Would buy again if needed. seems to be holding up well

This is the correct part and works perfectly. I have a problem with the installation. Be careful not to slip the cable back into the hole to the gas tank. That happened to me and the end of the cable didn't sit properly at first and kept bending. The cord then slipped down the hole and I had to go through the trunk to get it. I finally got it right and it worked.

Dude that was a great deal. This part broke on our Chevrolet Aveo years ago and we were sick of the throttle being open and people stopping next to us to tell us or even stopping to tell us lol I didn't fix it , because I had no indication of how easy it would be to fix, but it's the easiest thing to fix in your car other than changing the interior light. definitely a good deal and price and I'm doing this review 14 months after I bought and installed it and it works great. also fast delivery…

too if only the plastic fastener is broken. IF YOU ARE SURE ONLY the plastic pin is broken and the cable is not damaged, pulled out or disconnected under the car, this part will fit and you need it. But in my experience 9 times out of 10 the part with the wire attached is the part that unfortunately needs to be installed to fix the fuel filler door. But if it's just a pin, it's a great piece for a great price.
