I love this scanner. I used an earlier version which is also fantastic (7 years old I think). I bought this because of its compactness. I use the new one in the office and keep the old one at home if I have the opportunity to work from home for a day. I love that I can seamlessly connect any machine to my laptop without messing around with software.

I've been a fan of Scan Snap for years. I had several S510. Then my IT specialist told me about this smaller, more compact model. I love how little it stacks up on my desktop. Scans quickly and the quality is excellent. The pages remain split, but you probably won't be able to insert more than 7-8 at a time to ensure a smooth experience.

I scanned several documents to PDF files and many images to JPEG files. In general I am very satisfied. The scanner is small, fast, scans accurately and rarely has problems with page or photo feeding. I took off a star because without Twain support you have to use their software, which I found a bit confusing at first but eventually got the hang of it.

I really like this scanner! It is very easy to use and adapts to all paper sizes and shapes. Scanning is excellent and you can scan many documents at once. Easily switch from single-sided to double-sided scanning. I've started getting rid of all my class notes and papers and this scanner makes it easy to transfer everything to my computer. The scanner is small and easy to hide when not in use.

My favorite scanner brand. This is the second one I've bought so I'm very familiar with his work. I think it's good that you can scan duplex. I had to go to a website to get the software for this, so it took a bit of time and experience. But it works well and I will stick with the Fujitsu ScanSnap brand. I scan all sizes (e.g. receipts) and it works great with it. I also convert everything to Adobe PDF files, but I will create other file types as well. I bought Adobe separately.

I have used a previous version of this Scansnap scanner for over 7 years and really loved it. I only had to buy a new one when the latest Apple OS didn't work with the old one. Not a complete failure, the old one works with my wife's machine as she hasn't updated the OS. It's easy to use, scans both sides of a page, and can scan multiple pages (probably no more than 10) at once. Good product.
