2 Pack - Protective Moving Bags for Full Size Mattress: uBoxes 54x12x90 Review

Our moving company charged $20 per bag for our mattresses so we chose these bags as we were moving locally and they worked great. They had a few holes and tears but they protected our mattresses and we used them to cover the floor and furniture while painting.

These mattress covers are well made and durable. I had to throw out the old mattress, and New York law required a mattress to be covered before being placed on the sidewalk for public health pickup. With these mattress pads I was able to dispose of my mattress in an environmentally friendly way, which is the reason for the law.

Used these in a recent move to not only get a deep pillow top mattress but was able to leave my memory foam topper. It ended up with a gap, a small one, but judging by the other things I've seen with my furniture I think they nailed it. The second I used to lower over a padded headboard and obviously didn't need the full length, but it worked great for that too.

They tell the truth about these cases: they are thin, you have to tape them shut. However, I found them exactly as described by the seller. Honestly, it's still not worth pulling the mattress by the plastic bag, it will of course tear. There is enough space to make a valve and seal it with tape. I actually preferred it to a zip or whatever, the tape was much more secure. It catches easily and tears through the brackets on the box spring, so be careful.

I've used these types of bags at least 3 times and will always buy them for every move. I'm a bit picky about staying clean and these bags cover the mattress perfectly without being too big (if they're too big they rip more easily). They almost never last more than 1 movement because they inevitably get small cracks when moving, but they are made of high quality/thick plastic that will only break if they get stuck or if the mattress is very heavy and is pulled during movement. They hold up well
