I bought one of these for my rottie that has bad knees. She loves it and often times lies on the dog bed instead of the couch. She likes it so much we bought a second one for another room. The padding is really thick egg crate type foam. The covering has a nice soft texture but it's easy to vacuum the dog hair off.

My Great Dane absolutely loves this bed, I have the Jumbo Plus for her. It’s a great size. However, you absolutely get what you pay for with this. I’ve had it for 7 months and the foam has already started to get divets and indents where she lays the most, and the cover ripped. A replacement cover is $40 for the Jumbo Plus, so about 1/3 the total cost of the bed which is a bit crazy. She lays on it probably about 12 hours a day so it’s in pretty constant use. My picture shows how my 2 Boxers responded 10 minutes after unboxing.Bought "Jumbo" size with standard orthopedic mattress, but could have went with large. However, as Boxer owners know, they love to sprawl and move when they sleep. Overall seems to be high quality materials, no smell from the orthopedic mattress, and arrived in stress free packaging.Look forward to many years of use, and "love", from this doggy bed.

I gave this bed 4 stars for chew proof and easy to clean mostly because we just got the bed and I have been able to test this yet. I saw my Pomsky grab it during play last night and I think if she wanted to she could rip into it. Thankfully both my dogs are old enough they dont usually destroy their beds anymore.The fabric seems like it will do well in the laundry. I usually review items much sooner, but the durability of this brought me back. We bought it a few years ago, and our XL Minpin, Cooper, used it daily. For the last year or more it was on the patio as much as inside, and the only damage was from the sun fading it as you can see in the pix. We got it for the dog that weighs 50 pounds but, of course, it's been co-opted by the 90 pound dog, He really does like laying his head on the bolster sides and he can be found there most any time of day or night. The owners like it because the zipper around the sides is long enough so that it isn't difficult to put the cover off and on for laundering. This product was great for my older dog who had arthritis. Unfortunately, accidents happen and this product doesn’t wash as well as one would hope. Be careful with the pad in the washer, it will fall apart.

She cant chew through it and she hasn't clawed it to pieces yet either. Its very easy to clean and keep up maintenance on it.

Best dog bed we’ve ever purchased! She was never a dog bed pup until we got this one. She loves it to much and sleeps on it every night. I lay a blanket on it every night just to keep it clean. Although you are able to unzip the cover and wash it. :) that’s a plus!

difficult to put cover back on after washing. I have an older dog. It is difficult for her to stand from laying. her nails wore a hole in the cover. all in all its a good product.

My two golden retrievers have their own bed, they have had this bed for a little over a year and they still are holding up pretty well. A huge plus is that the covers are easy tp remove and are machine washable.

Our pup, a 60 pound golden who is 9 months loves it. I took her a little while to get used to it though because she tried to chew on it but once she realized that she wasn’t supposed to do that, she found it very comfortable and really likes it.
