📚 Furinno Pasir 3-Tier Open Shelf Bookcase in White and Green Finish, Model 11003WH/GR Review

I went for a $15 Amazon rebate (perfect condition, damaged packaging) and even that was too much money. That's what I expected for paying $7 to $10 at Walmart. It's crap, but it fits in the laundry room. And everything should be fine as we only have one trash can. It doesn't have a real plastic coating but a wax coating so this piece is not at all suitable for kids or everyday use as it's just crappy materials holding it together.

I received it yesterday and the assembly was quick. However, after assembling it, I noticed some quality issues. As you can see from the photo, the plastic coating on the chipboard has chips on some edges. Several corners were also dented, causing the coating to peel off. Finally, and more annoyingly, the mounting stickers were attached to the front edges of the shelves and sent for easy removal, which requires a lot of tinkering and cleaning.

Cute little shelves. They were well packaged and beautifully presented. You can choose the color side/top or the white side. Assembly was easy. I have two complaints: 1) The screws are not countersunk, so the screws are not flush or countersunk. This makes it difficult to attach protective stickers and they sometimes pop off. 2) "White" security decals are more like ivory, so they don't pair well with a bright white finish if you build the shelf white side out. Instead I used the green stickers

The price was right but the production label was stuck to the colored side of the back panel and could not be removed without damaging the surface of the back panel. I ended up having to sand and repaint the back panel which was very annoying and time consuming. I don't know why they had to put this sticker on the painted side of the back panel and not the other side. or better yet, a part where it's easy to remove, like one of the sides covered with veneer that won't damage.

Ooooo. Why put stickers on the visible parts of the shelf? It won't come off. It would be advisable to stick them on the BACK of the product and not on the visible parts. I have to either leave the sticker here or peel the paint off with it. I found this on the sign after building the shelf. The label stickers for shelves A and B have also been placed on the visible parts of the shelf, but they are white so that they are not as noticeable. But it's annoying that this beautiful shelf is stuck…

This is a great shelf! Looks sturdy, comes with good quality screws and nails that don't feel cheap at all. I use it (the 3 tier version) as a side table for my high dorm bed and it does the job perfectly. I love how you can put it together with swatches facing in or out. My only criticism is that the tools needed for the build should be listed much more prominently on the product page. You will need a Phillips screwdriver to assemble it and a hammer to nail the thin backing. This part is not…

We were so glad to find these bookshelves as we needed something about 30 inches high for our speakers and it was proving difficult to find! It's just what we needed and at a great price.
