I installed this extender on the back of the table between two lounge chairs. The lamp plugs into one of the sockets while the iPad Turbo Charger uses the other. Our cell phones are charged via USB ports. The table has an aged black finish so the power strip is barely visible. We chose it because of the orientation of the plugs. It worked great.

Sockets work as they should. I haven't tested the USB output to be sure, but it seems to be working fine as well. The only drawback is the quality of the supplied screws. I cut one in half in soft plywood, even with a pilot hole. Obviously I should have used a 1 size bigger racquet. I was able to get the screw out with a vise, but that almost caused a big problem in my project. Just make sure you drill an adequate pilot hole as these screws are weak sauce.

I liked the product a lot. Installed it in a closet in a headboard I built. Unfortunately, shortly after I started using it, all of the USB ports stopped working. The sockets still work, I still use it. I only had my phone charged and a PS4 controller so I didn't overcharge it. Very disappointed. In time I will order a replacement from another seller. This power strip looks well built and looks very neat once installed. I put two of these in our guest rooms and people really appreciated them. They make the life of these guests much easier. Please note that while USB outlets have a slightly higher power output than older 2.4A outlets, they do not offer fast charging (4.8A) for compatible devices. My sister bought the table but it had a hole so she gave it to me. I was about to patch it up, but then I remembered those bad boys. I just twisted the hole in the table and slid this guy right in. In the beginning I had to adjust the plug about 3 times because I don't think there was any current going through it, but I think that might have been a problem. with my point of sale, not with the product itself.
