Type of review

I installed this on our IP-600 Fusion boat stereo. It was easy, just crawl under the dash and find the wires you need (switched power, ground) and plug the RCA L/R jacks into your stereo plugs and you're good to go. It turns on and off with the stereo if you follow their installation instructions. We instantly paired it to both iPhones in less than 10 seconds and were able to stay in touch with it (the boat's dashboard) while floating 30 to 40 feet in the water with our iPhones and drinks in…

Pros

Cons
  • good but not great

Good unit, requires separate power supply and sound output

Good product, easy to install and use. It needs a separate power supply to work. Purchase it separately or plug directly into the 12DC power supply on the hardware board or into the power supply area of the board. I gave four stars because the performance is poor. It's more of a pre-out type, and on my Bose radio at least, it takes a small power supply that I crank all the way up so the auxiliary input sound level through the RCA jacks matches volume when I switch between radio and auxiliary/…

Works perfectly! in Audio and Video Accessories

I've installed them on several different boats and they all work great. You no longer need a traditional head unit, all your music is on your phone, and who wants to listen to the radio? It makes for a super clean install and anyone whining about music can just plug in their phone and play their own crappy music. I just want to change the bluetooth name. It is hardcoded as "Fusion MS-BT100". I would like to personalize it by the name of the boat it is on. I would also like to turn off the…

Much better than cables everywhere

I have a 2014 Nissan Titan that only supports PHONE BT in the radio. madness for our time. I tried a USB dongle and it kept dropping/missing BT reception. I tried running a long 3.5mm cable from the input (in front of the radio) to the phone in the "closet". I even tried a CD mount for a phone and a smaller cable. I just couldn't get used to any of these options. Read more about let me try. I installed it in the dash and connected the RCA connectors with a 3.5mm adapter. Then I put a 3.5mm flat

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

This works to pair my Fusion marine stereo with my phone for music player, spotify etc. But since it's made by Fusion for Fusion, and I'm using it with a compatible Fusion head unit, why in the world can't I control (skip, etc.) music from the head unit? My car stereo does that. It also disconnects every time there is a power outage and it won't reconnect until I go into my phone's settings and pair it again. It would be nice if it paired automatically. Fusion seems to be years behind in…

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Modern

Purchased for use with Kenwood KAC-M1814 marine amplifier. Installation was easy, BT pairing was quick and easy. The sound quality was as good as any other Bluetooth device. Took the boat out and played music for about 4 hours and noticed the audio skipped randomly and more often than I agree. Enough to make me want to return it. Other things I don't like are how loud the pairing sound is, as well as the loud "popping" that occurs when pairing the phone and even navigating the phone to open the

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Low repairability

Best wired adapter I've ever used

I recently bought a new car with BT for calling but I wanted to add audio support. High quality adapter with good sound, easy to use and no electrical interference. I don't know what has happened to the BT adapter market in the last year or so, but I've tried many different adapters. and each of them suffers from some kind of design problem. These are usually audio prompts that aren't internally muffled, so they play at MAXIMUM volume through your stereo, giving you a heart attack every time…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
