📞 Advanced Big Button Speakerphone for Future Communication Review

Received the phone today. Nice big buttons and clear sound through the receiver, but the sound through the speaker was terrible. Delayed voice, soft with echo. I use the speaker all the time and ended up returning this phone because not only could I not hear anyone through the speaker but they couldn't hear me either. Maybe it was just this phone but I was planning to give my grandmother a phone with a picture on it so I did and I will help find another phone for me.

Addendum: We have had this phone for about 2 years now. My elderly mother uses it for the speaker function. She doesn't see well. She has been working great for 2 years and then suddenly now a horrible noise when we call her. She can't hear it, but no matter who is calling (mobile or landline), it's an awful noise. My dad is blind but he can still see big numbers. I bought him this phone and he was very happy about it. Now he can call me himself and doesn't have to ask his mother for help dialing the number. He can also call whomever and whenever he wants. The volume on the handset is adjustable, so I turn it all the way up so it can hear people talking when they call. Was hoping this phone would be the answer to the prayers of deaf seniors in a nursing home. The HI ring volume was a quiet electronic ring for us normal hearing people! I thought the call might be backwards flagged and tried the LOW setting. No, the LOW call was down. The phone has to be returned as my friend's mother didn't hear it ring next to her bed.
