I really liked the first pair, the second even more.

Nothing special. Bought these, albeit an older model, while building my gaming PC 3 years ago. When I first started multiboxing video games, I quickly realized that I needed a lot more RAM. I use them every day without exception.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Ok for the most part, but...

Very buggy: Storage

I bought this 16GB (2 x 8GB) kit to upgrade my computer to 32GB of DDR4 3000MHz RAM. Purchase was easy and delivery was on time. Here the good news ends. RAM works stably only at a frequency of 2133 MHz. Now I just want to think that I was unlucky with this item, but judging by people's feedback, maybe I just got lucky with the first pair. rzunimag.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Important to reach the specified speed!

Those who buy this will find that the default speed for this ram after installation is 2133MHz at 1.2 volts. Simple fix: go into your bios and increase clock speed along with voltage in memory settings. (To access the BIOS, repeatedly press a special motherboard key, such as "delete") while the computer is booting up. In the bios you only have this in the advanced settings mode. If you have an XMP profile to run, just do that and it should automatically set the voltage to 1.35 and hold both…

Basically they work

Works pretty well with my Ryzen 5 2600 X370 system. I overclocked them to 3200MHz at 1.37V and they have been stable so far. Although they only tout their compatibility with the Intel z170 chipset, they seem to work well with other platforms as well. Would recommend if they are good value for money by the time you're thinking about getting some new RAM.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Increased memory from 16 to 32GB

I bought a set of 16GB (8GB x 2) flash drives a few years ago when I was building my gaming system. I saw the low price and bought an additional 16GB to expand my system to 32GB. These are cool looking sticks and they work great. I've had no issues with them and at this price point (now $57) I couldn't resist.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Perfect RAM with no problems.

Having only tested one PC game from my latest build to this new one with this RAM I have to say it's an amazing difference. My games went from 4k at 30-40fps to 4k at around max settings and 60fps! That's incredible! i love this memory It's wonderful and the value is great.

Pros
  • Waiting for
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

Check your voltage if 2133MHz

IMPORTANT, my setup defaulted the memory to 2133MHz at 1.2 volts. After increasing the voltage to the specified 1.35 volts and forcing it to 3000 MHz, the memory works perfectly.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Makes me angry

MemTest memory error

Purchased to increase the amount of RAM in the UnRaid system. 1 week later the system crashed again. I've spent the whole house trying to figure out what happened, looking through logs, messing around with settings that have been stable for years, and nothing. Finally booted into MemTest and found serious typos after a few minutes. I thought it was my old RAM sticks and then did some isolation by removing the old RAM leaving ONLY the RipJaws in place. Within 5 minutes there were again numerous…
